Toney L Gibson Sr.

Toney L. Gibson Sr. (84), of Medina, passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2024. Toney was born on March 23, 1940 in Logan, West Virginia, and moved to Ohio at age 18. He worked as a laborer for Local 860 for 23 years. He loved to gamble, play cards, and hunt; and he loved the Cleveland Indians. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved spending time with his family.

Toney is survived by his wife of 52 years, Rosetta; children, Tony Jr. (Violet), Donna (Dave), Steve (Nadine), Michelle (Jonathan) Pyle, and Cheryl (Gary) Arroyo; siblings, Tom (Kathy), Phyllis (Delmer, deceased) Price, and Dennis (Connie); 17 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.

Toney was preceded in death by his parents, P.D. and Nellie Gibson; loving daughter, LeAnn; and sisters, Betty Workman, Delores Lotenero and Marge Yoney.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday, September 22 from 1:00 - 4:00 pm at Stancato's Celebratta Room, 7380 State Road, Parma.
