Marilyn A. Tokheim, age76, passed away peacefully April 30, 2019. She loved her family, quilting, and working in her flower beds. Marilyn had many adventures, such as attending Macalester College, and running a farm, raising beef cattle and chickens. Her love of God’s creatures was very passionate. Later in life she loved running & entertaining guests at Grandmas house B&B. Marilyn was also a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Smithville, and belonged to the Women’s Circle Group at the church.
Marilyn is survived by her children Nathan Farver and Rachel Grifo (Anthony); grandson, Lance Daniel Grifo; brothers, Roger Tokheim (Carrie) and Gene Tokheim (Lucy); and her former husband, David Farver.
A memorial service and luncheon will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 777 S. Summit St., Smithville, on Thursday, May 16 at 3:00 pm.
