Thomas, Charles R.

Charles R. “Chuck” Thomas, 79 of Brunswick Hills, passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2021. He was a HUGE football fan, especially loving the Browns. Chuck was completely unselfish, and his family always came first.  He was a devoted family man who also loved his Hope Church family.

Chuck is survived by his wife of 57 years, Patricia; son, Troy Allan Thomas; daughter, Jenine Ann Hicks; grandchildren, Madelyn, Tyler, and Breezy Hicks; and a sister, Shirley Large (Howard). He was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Thomas and a sister, Sandy Ward.

The family will receive friends at Hope Church, 1905 Pearl Rd., Brunswick from 4-6pm Friday.  The funeral service will be at the church on Saturday at 11am. The burial at Eastlawn Memory Gardens will be at 2pm Saturday following the luncheon.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be sent to Hope Church in Chuck’s name.

  1. Very sorry to hear about your dad. To me he was Chuck and was always a pleasure to talk with him and was truly interested in what I had to say. He will be missed.

    Chuck was always a a good sport about the Steelers and Cleveland matchups when he came down to visit my sister Lonnie‘s house and we were there at the same time.
    He was a great guy and the family love was always evident.

Chuck was one of a kind , I remembered when i seen Chuck moving fast down the hall at the doctors office i asked him why he was in such a hurry , his replayed was I’m going to see my back doctor , he’s going to put my back together Chuck loved new body parts. I will always remember that , I had a new right knee and I can’t stand it .
