Tasha Ann Marason

We are saddened to announce the passing of Tasha Marason, 31, of Medina unexpectedly in her home. The family and the many close friends are devastated by this unexpected loss.

Born on June 7, 1992, Tasha filled the lives of her parents, Sandra and Joseph Marason, with incredible joy. Tasha grew to be a light in the lives of all that knew her. There wasn’t a room Tasha entered where she didn’t make a new friend. Tasha loved cheering on her friends at activities within the Medina Creative Housing family as much as she enjoyed partaking in her own. Throughout the year, you could catch Tasha participating and cheering on fellow athletes in the Special Olympics, spending time with her friends taking on various adventures, and producing her own music, creating her label, PuzzPunk.

Tasha was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and best friend. Her presence is sorely missed and the loss of her light is deeply felt throughout the community. Tasha had a voice and laugh that filled rooms and put smiles on everyone's faces.

Tasha is predeceased by her grandparents, Anne and Loyal Hensley, and her best friend, Rebecca Schmidt. She is survived by her parents, Sandra and Joseph Marason; her sister, Maya Marason; her niece, Malia; her favorite aunt and uncle, Brenda and Scott Homer; and many cousins.

Tasha's Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 20th from 1:00 - 3:00 pm at Faithwalk Church, located 1480 Pearl Rd. Brunswick, Ohio 44212. All who knew Tasha are welcome. Following the Memorial Service, a Celebration of Life will be held on January 20th at AMF Medina Bowling Alley, located at 201 Harding St, Medina, OH 44256. This is an open event from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm, and anyone who wishes to celebrate the life of Tasha Marason and share their fond memories are welcome to join.
