Shirley J Lang

Shirley J. Lang, 89 of Medina passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024. She was a lady who loved helping people, especially at her business – Medina Paint Company.  Shirley belonged to the Medina Chapters of the Red Hat Society and the Order of the Eastern Star. She loved being at family gatherings and attending all the kids’ activities. She enjoyed camping and spending time at the lake fishing with her husband, Wilmer.  They also enjoyed being snowbirds at Ft. Myers, Florida.  Shirley loved going for rides, getting ice cream, going to Taco Bell with her granddaughter, and eating popcorn watching Hallmark movies and the Game Show Network. She will be greatly missed.

Shirley is survived by her loving daughter, Diane Edie (Robert); grandchildren, Marcus (Meena) Edie and Kristen (Chris) Franklin; and sister, Hazel (Howard) Calame.

Shirley was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Wilmer Lang; parents, Arthur and Martha Grosjean; son, Duane Lang; and siblings, Ruth Tschiegg (Don, surviving), Wayne, Nevin, Paul, and Merle Grosjean.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 13 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm, at which time the funeral service will begin at First Christian Church, 4797 Sharon Copley Rd., Medina with Rev. Paul Bomeli officiating. Interment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, Medina.
