Beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Helen Rauch peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 22, 2022, at the age of 103.
Helen was born August 4, 1918, the cherished daughter of Joseph Benjamin and Lillian (nee Kalina) Kozak, of Cleveland. Since the age of 14, she taught Sunday school, played piano, made many dear, long-lasting friendships, and supported Oehlhoff United Methodist Church in Cleveland. Helen and her husband Gerhardt “Gary” had a long, happy marriage and celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary just before Gary’s passing in 2015.
Helen is survived by her loving daughter, Sharon Hofmeister; her son-in-law, Bill (Cathy) Martin; grandchildren, Dylan (Allison) Martin, Christianna Evans, David Martin, Rebecca (Joshua) Grunda, John (Melinda) Hofmeister; her great-grandchildren, Gabriella, Matthias, Sebastian, Lilian, William, Silas, Nora, Walter, and Lane; and her dear niece, Kathy Kozak Long.
Helen is preceded in death by her loving parents; her husband, Gary; her beloved daughter , Diane; and her brothers, Joseph and Wilbur.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, May 27, 2022 at 11:00 am with a visitation and light refreshments to follow until 2:00 pm at Busch Funeral Home, 7501
Ridge Rd, Parma, OH 44129.
Private burial to follow at West Park Cemetery.
