Marilyn E. Peckinpaugh (nee Bowden) of Moreland Hills, Ohio and Bonita Springs, Florida passed away tragically in Islamorada, Florida on March 20, 2025. Marilyn and Walter loved jazz music and travelling annually to Mackinac Island, Michigan for their jazz festival. They also loved to travel, and especially enjoyed cruising and visiting the Keys. Marilyn enjoyed playing golf and tennis “with the gals”. She and her husband were both very active in the Moreland Hills, Ohio and Bonita Springs, Florida communities and will be missed by their many friends there and around the globe.
Marilyn is survived by her sons, Thomas J. Peckinpaugh (Tequilla) of Spring Hill, Florida and Daniel A. Peckinpaugh (Hallie) of Tavares, Florida; grandchildren, Aurora, Madison, Kailee, Conner, and Evie; and sister Janet Bowden (Bob Wehrle) of Mentor, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Willard Bowden of South Euclid, Ohio.
There will be a memorial gathering and time of remembrance on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Maher-Melbourne Funeral Home, 5236 Mayfield Rd., Lyndhurst, Ohio.
