Joann B Besida

Joann B. Besida passed away on November 19, 2024 at the age of 83. She was born on February 20, 1941  and spent her life dedicated to the love of her family.

Joann retired from Third Federal Bank.   Joann's love for camping, vacations, beaches, shopping, and boating reflected her zest for life and her desire to create lasting memories with her loved ones.  However, her greatest pride and joy was undoubtedly her family

In addition to her husband of 64 years, Robert Besida, Joann is survived by her cherished children, Michele Krajewski (Mike) and Christopher Besida (Dana);  adoring grandchildren, Stephanie Harbaugh, Zak Harbaugh (Stephanie), Jordan Besida; Abigail Besida, Joshua Besida, Leah Krajewski, Alaina Krajewski, Dominic DeArman and Monique DeArman; as well as great-grandchildren, Carter, Jett, Jaxson, and Carson. Joann is also remembered by her siblings, Donna Province and Michele Utlak; and sister-in-law; Betty Roberts.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mitchel and Lillian Bojalad; her son, Robert Besida; and brothers, Al Chippy and Robert Bojalad.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, December 1, 2024, at 2:00 pm, at Brunswick Reformed Church, located at 3535 Grafton Road in Brunswick. The service will be followed by a dinner, bringing together family and friends to honor and celebrate Joann’s remarkable life and the love she gave to those around her.
