James Wood

James Wood, 83 of Brunswick, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2023. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Jim spent his entire working career at PPG Industries where he retired after 41 years. He was a self-proclaimed handyman, an avid target shooter, and was active with St. Ambrose Catholic Works, but what he enjoyed the most was spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He will be greatly missed.

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Carol (nee Andrachik); his children, Diane Tocco, Christine Castro (Dale), Kathleen Bostick (Melvin), and Michael Wood (Dina Lent); grandchildren, Kaley Tocco, Kyle Castro, Joey Tocco (Lauren Kapranci), Nicholas Castro, Dylan Castro, Sam Bostick and Ben Bostick; and great grandsons, Domenick Tocco and Vito Tocco.

Visitation with the family will take place on Wednesday, June 21 from 12:30 pm until 1:30 pm at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 929 Pearl Rd., Brunswick, where the memorial Mass will be held at 1:30 pm. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
