James C. "Jimmy" Rambo, 81, of Lodi, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2025, in Medina, Ohio. He was born on September 22, 1943, in McDowell County, West Virginia, to Geraldine and Claude (Elmer) Rambo.
Jimmy was a proud retiree of Ford Motor Company and a retired ironworker. He was an avid NASCAR enthusiast and a devoted Cleveland sports fan.
He was one of 19 siblings and is survived by his sisters, Ruth (Doug) Bryson, Linda (John) Cohara, and Melody (Alan) Sago. Jimmy was a loving father to his three children: Lisa (Jerry) Spears, James Rambo, and Geri (Rich) Noch. He also cherished several stepchildren who remained close to him throughout his life.
Jimmy was a proud grandfather to 12 grandchildren: Stephen (Anna) Spears, Sherry (Medhat) Spears, Hayley Rambo, James Rambo, Maria Rambo, William Rambo, Savannah Mitchell, Skylr Corsaro, Sabrina (Lance) Williams, Samantha (Earl) Noch, Matthew Noch, and Shyanne Noch. He was further blessed with 13 great-grandchildren. He was also loved by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Jimmy will be remembered for his kindness and generosity; he was always quick to lend a helping hand.
He will be laid to rest at Hope Memorial Gardens in Hinckley, Ohio. Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life on April 16, 2025, at Allardale Lodge, 141 Remsen Road, Medina, Ohio, from 5:00 - 8:00 pm.
