Mitchell Alan Hook, 65, faced and fought his cancer with courage, until Jesus came and took him home Nov. 22, 2020, while at Medina Cleveland Clinic. He was born to the late Eugene Owen and Goldia Mae Hook on November 15, 1955. He was a retired mechanic for RTA. He served on the Litchfield Board of Zoning Appeals, and acted as Chairman until his resignation in August 2020, due to declining health. He was a graduate of Midpark High School, and of Denver Automotive and Diesel College.
Mitchell met the love of his life, Debbie Napholz, in 1978, and during a recent stay at Medina Cleveland Clinic Chaplain Wendling renewed their wedding vows on their 35th anniversary. Dear brother to Linda Murphy (Danny) and Pamela Austin (Lester) and loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was a sincere, kind and loyal friend to many. He will be forever missed and loved by his wife and all those whose hearts he touched.
Mitchell wanted all his nurses, doctors and caregivers to know how much he appreciated all of them. T
here will be a memorial to honor Mitchell’s life at Litchfield Assembly of God, 9082 Norwalk Rd., Litchfield, on Tuesday, Dec. 1 at 11:30 am, followed by inurnment at Litchfield Cemetery, just across the street.
