Harold Lee Hom, age 60, of Fairview Park, OH, passed away on September 5, 2022. He was born on April 5th, 1962 in Youngstown, Ohio and moved to Fairview Park, Ohio during his childhood. He graduated from Fairview High School in 1980, earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering at The Ohio State University in 1984, and earned his J.D. and M.B.A at Case Western Reserve University in 1988. He was a successful solo practicing attorney based out of Westlake, Ohio who focused on immigration, probate, trust and business law.
Harold will be fondly remembered as an active community member. He participated in the Fairview Park Summerfest committee, Westshore Bar association, and Organization of Chinese Americans of Greater Cleveland. He also enjoyed volunteering at the Fairview Park Senior Center by giving free legal advice. Harold was a generous, kind, and humorous family member and friend. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, listening to music, singing karaoke, and learning about history. Many will remember him for his annual newsletters, where he shared updates on his life with his fun pictures and jest.
Harold is survived by his wife of 29 years, Anieda Hom; son, Brian Hom; son, Grant Hom; brothers, Edward (Karen), Steven (Jessica), and Randy (Angie) Hom; and many nieces and nephews. His visitation hours will be 4-8 pm September 12, 2022 and 9-10 am September 13, 2022 prior to the memorial service at Busch Funeral Home, 21369 Center Ridge Rd, Fairview Park, OH 44116.
