Theresa A (nee Dailey) Hogan- You are loved!
Theresa passed into peace May 22, 2022. Theresa was a great lover of animals, of her country, and a caregiver (until age 73!), the babysitter everyone relied on, a fierce loving friend and a shoulder to cry on, always there to help when you needed her. Her many, many random acts of kindness will never be forgotten, we ask everyone to consider “paying it forward” in her memory.
Theresa went to high school with both Arnold Palmer and Mr Rogers, as she was fond of telling everyone. She was proud to have worked at both Ohio Bell and Bell Telephone of Pennsylvania as a switchboard operator. She was a leader in her community and lead by example. She was a Girl Scout Leader, Boy Scout Leader and Cub Scout Leader, always showing us all the motto she lived by “You are loved!”, which was even on her license plate. The legacy she leaves behind is kindness, generosity and love.
She will be eternally remembered by her loving family, her daughters Kathleen Ockuly (Thomas), Maureen Schaefer (Robert); her son, Thomas Hogan (Janine); her cherished grandchildren, Ryan Ockuly (Carlie), Maureen Kenoche (Kenny), Robin Schaefer, Megan Makstenieks (Guntis), Michael Schaefer (Jenna), Brian Hogan, and Brittany Chabot (Nicholas); her seven great-grandchildren; and many, close, dear friends, family and neighbors, the the staff and patrons of her local McDonalds where she was so well know for “paying it forward” and making everyone’s day.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents and beloved husband, Richard Hogan.
