Gibaldi, Carol

Carol Gibaldi of Valley City reunited with her beloved husband Ross of 55 years, and her parents Carl and Margaret Paoletta on February 9, 2018 at the age of 77.  Carol was a loving mother and grandmother, who lived her dreams while supporting her husband and family in obtaining their own dreams. She instilled her love of family and animals to her children and grandchildren.  Carol wished to “thank all those who cared” and express her love to Marian, Mario, and Judy.

Owner of Terra II Farm, Carol was an avid horsewoman recognized for three State championships.  Carol co-owned Ross’ R & R Service in Brunswick. She was a former member of the Emergency Planning Commission, Tri-County Zoning Board, Cleveland Doll Club, Arabian Horse Association, and Central Ohio Saddle Association.  Carol served as secretary for the Northern Ohio Doll Club and president of the Berea Historical Doll Club.

Surviving are Carol’s brother, son Mark (Amy) Gibaldi, daughter Mari (Rick) Engelhart, grandchildren Amanda, Jesse, Kristin and Marisa Hare, Sabrina (Chris) Scheirer, Aubrey and Daniel Gibaldi, and great-granddaughters, Adrianna and Katherine.   2. Not sure how I am going to do without my Cuz…..Miss you so much, and forever will. My only consolation is you are without pain and with your wonderful Ross. My heart is heavy, even though a piece of it went with you. Will treasure our life’s memories. Love you forever.
