Ruth A. Duffy passed away peacefully on May 12, 2018 at the age of 80. She was born June 2, 1937 in Butler, PA, the daughter of the late Ruth and James Kintz. Ruth married Tom Duffy in 1957 at the United Presbyterian church, and they recently celebrated their 60 year anniversary. Ruth graduated from Butler High School in 1955, and had a long career as a bookkeeper, before retiring as an executive secretary. She enjoyed sewing, ceramics, bridge, reading novels, and traveling, and was a member of the Maqueda Chapter 421 Order of the Eastern Star in Butler, PA.
Ruth is survived by her husband, Tom; three children, Robert (Bernice) Duffy of Medina, OH; Deborah (Kenneth) Daywalt of Smyrna, SC, and Jennifer (Brian) Borawiec of Cortland, OH.; eight grandchildren; thirteen great grand-children; and her sister, Sandra (Michael) Montgomery. She was proceeded in death by one grandson.
