Duane E. Lang

Duane E. Lang, 64 of Medina, passed away on Friday, October 27. He was a people person who loved socializing and being around others. He was a multi-faceted guy who enjoyed fishing on his boat, bowling, gambling, NASCAR, working with his hands, helping others, joking around, being a handyman, and wintering in Florida. He was an avid Browns and Ohio State fan. Duane enjoyed his job doing maintenance for Medina County as well as working in his family’s paint store and being a volunteer fireman for Medina. He also loved his favorite dog, Kirby.

Duane is survived by his loving mother, Shirley Lang; his sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Robert Edie; his niece, Kristen Franklin (Chris) and nephew, Marcus Edie (fiancé Meena). He was preceded in death by his father, Wilmer Lang.

A Celebration of Duane’s life will take place on Saturday, November 18, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Medina Eagles, 696 Lafayette Road, Medina, Ohio.
