Dennis Mahoney

Dennis A. Mahoney passed away Friday, March 10, 2023. Dennis was born January 10, 1940 in Cleveland to the late Dennis J. Mahoney and Vivian (Whalen) Mahoney.

 

Dennis graduated from Holy Name High School, and retired from the Cleveland Fire Department. Dennis opened and ran three beauty salons in Medina until his retirement in 2014.

 

Dennis was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Susnick and brother, Anthony Mahoney.

 

Survivors include his former first wife, Lucy; and their children, MaryKay, Coleen, Peggy, and Christopher. He is also survived by his seven brothers and sisters, Tom and Bonnie Mahoney, Bryan and Jan Mahoney, Gary and Sue Mahoney, Donna Parschen, Ron and Renee Rotondo, Rita and Al Iftt, and Vivian and Frank Roski. His is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and grandchildren.

 

Dennis was a dear friend to many, and he will be missed by those who knew him best. He enjoyed Elvis parties, and family parties on his deck at Chippewa Lake, watching the beautiful sunsets with a frosted mug of beer. Dennis's request was that there be no formal visitation, and that he be cremated.
