David A Bosak

David A. Bosak, 59, of Cleveland, OH, passed away September 6, 2023 after a short illness.

David is survived by sons, Christopher Bosak and Joseph Bosak; father, Loddie Bosak; brothers, Michael Bosak (Roberta) and Donald Bosak (Chris); sister, Cheryl Bosak (Chris); aunts,Hope Placek and Dottie Placek; sister in‑law, Kathy Dobrovich (Dave); brother‑in‑law, Jimmy Gannon; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by wife Colleen Bosak (née Gannon), mother Marilyn Bosak, and uncles Richard “Butch” Placek and Robert Placek.

David and his sons enjoyed numerous wins in soap box derby races throughout northeast Ohio.  He was also involved in the Ohio Firebirds Club, and was the proud owner of a Smokey and the Bandit Trans Am.  David enjoyed showing this Trans Am, among others, at the Trans Am Nationals and at Cleveland Piston Power Show.

David worked in the family business, Bosak Dairy & Beverage, until its closing in 1995.  He was then employed by Renaissance Hotels for approximately 20 years as the HVAC building maintenance supervisor.

David will be greatly missed by family and friends alike.

The family will receive guests during calling hours Saturday, September 16, 2023 from 10:00 am ‑ 12:00 pm at The Salvation Army Medina Corp Community Center, 425 W Liberty St, Medina, OH 44256.

Private family interment at Holy Cross Cemetery will follow.
