Boresh, James S.

JAMES S. BORESH, age 61 of Maple Hts., passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 12, 2018.

Jim Boresh was many things to many people.  To his family, he was a husband and a father who never failed to bring home wonderful and oftentimes, silly gifts to express his love for us. To others he was an accomplished musician with an extraordinary gift to move people with his music and the louder the better.

His love of Bonsai was beyond amazing and showed in each tree he spent hours upon hours delicately caring for and forming into the exact shape it was meant to be.

To so very many others, he was a friend, someone to talk with, learn from and depend on.   All these wonderful qualities that Jim had will be forever missed by all of us and now sadly must be held in our hearts forever as memories he left behind. Jim would want us to take these pieces of him and spread them out into the world.   So in Jim’s memory, give your gifts of love, listen and play your music loud, make beautiful art and share, learn, grow and love unconditionally.

Jim is survived by his loving wife, Nancy; daughters, Aleksandra and Tessa Boresh; mother C. June Boresh; sister, Jill Boresh; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved pets.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Boresh; sister, Jacqueline Stankiewicz; brother, John Boresh; and son, Jeremyah James Boresh.

The family will receive friends at the First Christian Church, 3611 Center Rd., Brunswick on Saturday, December 15 from 2-3 pm with a celebration of Jim’s life beginning at 3 pm. A private, family burial has taken place.

  1. Jim was our brother-in-law. He will remain forever in our hearts. Jim was an amazingly intelligent person with so many interests and hobbies. He was the type of person you could talk with for hours! You will be sorrowfully missed by your family and friends. Peace and love to your wife and girls.

  2. I only knew Jim a short time and he touched my life. He had such a beautiful and loving personality. His willingness to go beyond the norm in his job and also helping people that he barely knew. I will never forget him or the kindness he showed. My SINCERE Condolences to Nancy and his children and mother and sister and other family that I met. One of the last things we were planning was to have him and his family over for dinner. Thank you Nancy for allowing me to grieve with you. My heart is broken. I say these things with Love in my heart for you and your Family.

  7. Today, December 31st one of Jim’s coworkers told me that Jim had passed. I am one of his customers that he treated so well. I literally began to cry when I was told what had happened to him. I had just become a Naturestone customer Nov. 21st. I will cherish his memory. He took the time to give me plant advice. Such a genuine person. Prayers for you all.
