Azre, Gaile E.

Gaile Elizabeth Azre (Hamula), 79, born on November 29th, 1941, daughter to the late Michael and Evelyn Hamula, passed away and joined the Lord on August 13th 2021. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her late husband, Ronald Azre. brother-in-laws, Raymond and Allan Azre and granddaughter Brittany Drone. She is survived by her brother Allan Hamula, sister Linda Sherman and her children Kimberly Drone (Terrence Drone), Leslie Mastro and Kelly Michaels (James Hamilton). Her grandchildren Terence Drone and Breauna Mastro.

Gaile lived a beautiful life marrying Ronald Azre, the only love she had known since the age of 15 in May of 1962. They had three daughters, which they both centered their world around. Both of them enjoyed the music of Elvis Presley and the song that most signified their love to one another was “Can’t Help Falling in Love”. They enjoyed concerts together, went and visited Graceland and together collected memorabilia that symbolized a lifetime of their love and devotion. Gaile enjoyed trips to the Amish Country with her sister, shopping HSN or QVC, dinners at Longhorn and shopping the aisles of Discount Drug Mart with her daughter, collected beautiful Seraphim angels, excelled in the art of sewing and had an unconditional love for animals that was undeniably pure. She was genuinely warm, loving, gentle, giving, kind and most of all pure and true to those she loved. She would light up a room with her radiant and beautifully contagious smile; and for all those that knew her, loved her.

In her professional career, she made the accomplishment of becoming a Northeastern Ohio Divisional Organizer with Princess House Crystal and dedicated close to 30 years of successful achievements. She mentored young women with her leadership skills as well as grew her own group of women known as the “Azre Angels.” Her success in sales allowed her to win all-expense paid trips for her and her husband to Hawaii three times, Bermuda, London and Monaco to name a few. Gaile had also spent the last 25 years of her career working full time as a dedicated Sales Associate at Macy’s. She gained many loyal friends there and found servicing and helping customers with her smile an enjoyable career until her retirement in June of 2019. The success she achieved with her career never allowed her to lose focus or the time it took to take care of her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister and grandmother through and through.

In life, we loved you dearly, in death we love you still. In our hearts you hold a place, no one else will ever fill; although we can no longer see you; you will be forever cherished and loved in our hearts until we meet again.

A very special heartfelt thank you to the many nurses and STNAs with the Welsh Home of Rocky River and Cypress Hospice for their dedicated special care they provided up to and leading to her final journey Home.
